The Power of the Labyrinth
Meet the horgon, a very common animal in the southern regions of Cureal. It’s renowned for it’s surprising strength for it’s horse-like size. Legend goes that long ago, a dragonborn priest, one that often traveled spreading the faith of Tivona, was distraught over the long travel times and lack of a sturdy riding animal for his journeys. As such, he fasted and prayed nonstop to Tivona to provide a solution to his dilemma for 8 days and seven nights. Around suppertime on the eighth day, the priest was growing week and desperately needed sustenance. Just as he was about to give in, he heard a strange sound come from outside the cave he was staying in. To his utter astonishment and awe, before him stood a strange creature that appeared to be some kind of mix between a dragon and horse. But not just one of them, dozens! Hesitantly, he saddled on of the creatures and hoped on, prepared for the worst, but his faith was finally rewarded! The creature carried him with ease, until it sneezed and flames erupted from his snout, lighting his soon-to-be-prepared meal on fire. Afterwards, he aptly named them the horgon, steeds of the dragonborn.
